Telynor's Library, and then some

A woman of a certain age who has three cats underfoot, and has the dream of filling her passport with stamps. Books, classical music, tea, cats, movies, art, fancy needlework,  and anything else I can think of.

The Greater Journey: Americans in Paris - David McCullough A very nice survey of the Americans -- mostly writers and artists, but also politicians and doctors -- who traveled to and lived in Paris between 1830-1900. While nothing is gone into any great depth, but many of the stories are all interesting, and should provide a good jumping off point for more research. Lots of notes and sources, and also several inserts of black and white or colour photos. I give this one four stars overall and a recommendation.
