Telynor's Library, and then some

A woman of a certain age who has three cats underfoot, and has the dream of filling her passport with stamps. Books, classical music, tea, cats, movies, art, fancy needlework,  and anything else I can think of.

Small Gods (Discworld, #13) - Terry Pratchett This time Pratchett takes a sharp, funny jab at organised religion. In the city-state of Omnia, ruled by a theocracy, young novice Brutha hears a voice that no one else is able to, and coming from a tortoise, no less. Brutha may not be as clever and power hungry as Vorbis, nor is he considered to be very clever, but he has a talent that no one else does, and the Great God Om needs someone -- anyone to belief in him if he is to evade a fate that even a god fears... Great good fun, and some serious things to think about as well. Four stars overall, and a must read for Discworld fans.
