Very disturbing to read, this book just might change your mind about what a true dictatorship is. Many complain that America is poverty ridden (it is) and repressive but compared to North Korea, we're living in fat city. These chilling narratives of those who have managed to escape the brutal regime of King Jong-il should find themselves questioning as to why the world has let such suffering to go on, and I hope, make you think a little. Five stars overall, but the overly-sensitive might find it too disturbing to read. Five stars overall.
