Telynor's Library, and then some

A woman of a certain age who has three cats underfoot, and has the dream of filling her passport with stamps. Books, classical music, tea, cats, movies, art, fancy needlework,  and anything else I can think of.

The Face of a Stranger - Anne Perry A good first novel to kick off the series. The hero/detective William Monk awakes in a hospital in 1850's London without a memory of who he is, or what brought him there. In uncovering the truth behind the murder of an aristocrat, Monk meets Hester Latterly, a nurse who has returned from the Crimean War, and some very unpleasant things about himself. Four stars overall.
