Sadly, this one wasn't as much fun to read as I had been hoping for. It's part of the Blossom Street series, sort of, telling the tale of Dr. Michael Everett, a man who is trying to cope after the loss of his wife to ovarian cancer. While I could sympathize with the overall theme of grief and coming to grips with it, I did find the constant pity-party and over the top plot elements to be a bit hard to take. One in particular just wrecked the book for me, and if it wasn't for the fact that this was on my Nook, I would have flung it to the wall. Alas, no knitting trivia or patterns, either. The only thing that saved it a little were Macy and the cats, and an adorable mutt named Sammy.
