The Lost German Slave Girl: The Extraordinary True Story of the Slave Sally Miller and Her Fight for Freedom in Old New Orleans - John Bailey Quite a tale that raised all sorts of questions about what defined a slave in the American Antebellum south. Very entertaining and revealing about class and race, and the role of women. Some will be outraged by this one. Go on and read it.
