Book #2 in the Pink Carnation series.Sequel to The Secret History of the Pink Carnation. Again, a rather light, but fun, novel about spies, daring rescues and dastardly deeds in Regency England and France, mirrored by a modern scholar's hunt for the true story of the Selkirks and the Pink Carnation. Fun, but also a little too light for my tastes.
