A woman of a certain age who has three cats underfoot, and has the dream of filling her passport with stamps. Books, classical music, tea, cats, movies, art, fancy needlework, and anything else I can think of.
A mystery set in Victorian England that is dark, revelatory, and compelling. It does take some effort to get through the language, but the author does it so well that I was enthralled from begining to end. It's not for everyone, but if you want a very satisfying historical read, this should fit the bill.
