Telynor's Library, and then some

A woman of a certain age who has three cats underfoot, and has the dream of filling her passport with stamps. Books, classical music, tea, cats, movies, art, fancy needlework,  and anything else I can think of.

No Worries, Mate! Just watch out for the drop-bears.

The Last Continent (Discworld, #22) - Terry Pratchett

This one rang all the right bells for me, with Rincewind once again being the butt of a joke being played by the multiverse. He's trapped in a vast red desert without food, without water, and sans The Luggage. And his diet of sparse water and the occanssional grub doesn't get better when a smart talking kangaroo named Scrappy shows up. Meanwhile, at the UU, a professor turns up missing, and when the deans, the Librarian and Archchancellor Ridcully find a window into a blissful, beautiful beach, things start to fall apart fast. I was roaring with laughter over this one, as is usual with Sir Terry's books, and the more you know about Australia, the harder you'll laugh. Beer in tins, a brown glop that looks like a notorious condiment, a trio of female impersonators, and other wild doings provide a snicker or two. Five stars overall, and muchly recommended.
