A woman of a certain age who has three cats underfoot, and has the dream of filling her passport with stamps. Books, classical music, tea, cats, movies, art, fancy needlework, and anything else I can think of.
Thank goodness, it appears that the author did actual research into how the servant class lived and worked, and it shows. While it does get a bit too much into the grim grimy facts (psst, chamberpots usually had lids for transportation...). Both Sarah and James, the footman at Longbourn are interesting characters, and I like the fact that their relationship is developing in a slow pace.
